Jesus only a man?

There are many verses which show “Jesus’ Limitations” like human we have limitations. Naturally, God doesn’t need food, thirst, to pray, to cry, wearied, but Jesus had. It doesn’t mean that Jesus is not God. Jesus is “God Incarnation”. Jesus had to obey that humanistic nature. Jesus is God but He can’t escape from the human nature. Jesus has same power, worship, and glory as YHWH. It was not necessitate becoming a man, but it was for human. Because of human understanding, God incarnated and became human.

limitation of Jesus Christ

Matthew 4:2
And after fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.

John 19:28
After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

John 4:6
Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.

Luke 5:16
And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

John 11:35
Jesus wept.

And because of this human nature other religions’ scholars claim that Jesus is not God.

He can’t do miracles except some of.
Mark 6:5
He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. And he was amazed at their lack of faith.

Jesus could not heal that man in first attempt but he had to try again.

Mark 8:22-26
Once more Jesus put his hands on the man's eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.

Increased in wisdom, he had not sufficient wisdom that’s why he needed to grow up.

Luke 2:52
And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

Jesus learned something new that proves that he did not know everything before that. God does not need to learn anything, because he has all the knowledge. Jesus learned, so Jesus is not God.

Hebrews 5:8
Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered

He did not know that the tree had no fruit. He did not know its not the season to expect figs on trees.

Mark 11:12-13
Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs.

He did not know who touched him.

Mark 5:30
At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, "Who touched my clothes?"

As Christians we believe that Jesus came to earth as human being, does it mean that Jesus left his divinity? John 1:1 says the Word was God.

Hebrews 2:17
For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way,

Jesus could not do miracles in Nazareth in the sense, Jesus would not do. Jesus did miracle by laying his hand on sick people and heals them. Wasn’t this miracle? In next verse “And he was amazed at their lack of faith.” and that’s why he would not do miracle.

He became like us with mere human nature. Then how can people believe that He is God? He was just like us and He had limitations as a human, like we have. If He doesn’t have limitations how can He be one of us?

Like a human being, He was born; He developed in wisdom and age, He was tempted. Jesus followed every terms of human nature but He never committed sin. He died for our sin and rose up on third day. And ascended to the heaven, and He will come again. Jesus was not a specter of humanity, but He was human with human nature and limitations.

Matthew 20:28
Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

Philippians 2:6-8
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,

but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death even death on a cross!

Jesus never said “I am God or Worship me”. Because Jesus did not come to earth to prove his divinity. He came as a human. So he himself didn’t claim that he is God. Jesus has proved his Divinity by his act, nature, words, and miracles.

The scriptures stand profuse authentication that Jesus Christ is God. But some other religions believe Jesus is no more than a prophet or creation of God, like me and you. They don’t believe that God can be a man. And because Jesus was human, they claim that he is not God. Because a man can not be a God. But the thing is man cannot be a God, it’s True. But God can be a man, its fact.

Human nature of Jesus Christ (www.dianedew.com)

There are many disagreements for Jesus’ Divinity because he had flash and blood. Definitely Jesus was a man but he was also divine. Some cults and other religions don’t believe on Jesus’ Divine nature. Why? Because he was a man, he lived like a man, he grew like a man, and he died like a man. It was the purpose of God to be a man. That’s why Jesus became a man and he became like us and he had limitations of human nature. In the Bible, there are 77 times Jesus called “Son of man”.

The Bible clearly says that Word became flash and experienced flash and blood. And the Bible refers in John 1:1, The Word was God and the Word corresponds to Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 2:14-15
Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death -- that is, the devil
and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

Anyone who do not believe in Jesus Christ, he is devil spirit. Jesus Christ came as a human for the ransom of human being. We have salvation in the name of Jesus, we can save our life because of Jesus, accept Jesus Christ and get eternal life.

1 John 4:2-3
This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,

but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

Jesus came to the earth to give his life for our salvation. And this was the reason he chose a very nature of human and gave his life for the ransom of sins. Voluntary, he gave up his power and position and he became one of us.

He became like His brethren, subject to all the physical, mental, and moral conditions of existence essential to human nature.

2 Corinthians 8:9
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

Philippians 2:5-8
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,

but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death -- even death on a cross!

And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

1 Peter 3:18
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Jesus had flash and bones. He had also the soul of human. That’s why he felt everything what human can feel. He had all the feelings as a man. He angered, sad, rejoices, wept,

Luke 19:41
And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,

Luke 10:21
In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe."

Jesus got the power for His work not by His inheritance of God, but anointing by the Holy Sprite. Because Jesus was in the same conditions of power as humans. Jesus didn’t need to baptize as per his divine nature, and John the Baptist also stopped him. But Jesus got baptize because he was incarnated.

Acts 10:37-38
how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.
We, humans get in close with God and get power by prayer. Faithfully prayer really works for us. Its define in the Bible 25 times that Jesus prayed. Jesus had all divine power then why Jesus need to pray? Because of his human nature Jesus prayed and get power through prayer, like we human.

Character of Jesus Christ (www.whatthebibleteaches.com)
Our scripture says, in Romans 3:23 For everyone has sinned. It means, there is no one on the face of the earth is Holy. It is completely impossible for human to live life without sin. Then how Jesus couldn’t do any sin? How could Jesus holy? He was also a man. If Jesus only a man, he must sinned and he shouldn’t holy. But Jesus never sinned and Jesus was/is holy. It’s because Jesus was incarnated God.
